Q. What is Lactobacilli?

Lactobacillus Plantarum

Lactobacillus Acidophilus

Lactobacillus Caseli

Lactobacillus Bulgaricus

Lactobacillus Fermenti

Lactobacillus Brevis

These bacteria get their name (lacto) because they are able to form lactic acid. They play a key role in fermented foods and are often referred to as 'probiotic'since they are positive or supportive microorganisms.

Q. Why are Probiotics important in our diet?

A. Probiotics help aid digestion and contribute to the destruction of viruses, parasites and fungi-like candida. They help create lactic acid which balances intestinal pH. They also help increase the number of immune system cells.
