James Bron Mackney

James commenced his career in the hospitality industry as a Chef and has over 25 years of competent knowledge in corporate catering, executive functions and event management. His accumulated experience within the hospitality industry extended from the sea to the land with major interest in the future of food production and the increasing commercial and domestic energy needs. As a food researcher, embracing the principles and sciences was logical for a sustainable ecological and economical industrial future. Prior to the end of the millennium, he travelled abroad and lived in Sweden for some years. After returning, he educated himself in wine studies and the art of food preservation through fermentation. Integrating the world of food and wine and understanding senses, it was a natural progression for James to find interest into the world of fragrance. He became a scent design specialist and the regional sales & marketing manager. BTL communications and marketing experience contributed to brand awareness, profits and an understanding to most importantly deliver ROI. Essentially the business account managed and serviced many corporate clients in large, medium and smaller businesses, promoting healthy fragrant environments that equaled greater sales. Marketing signature scents through media, advertising & promotion for clients such as APN (Outdoor News & Media) and consulting clients such as P&G (Procter & Gamble), NSW State Government -SRA and ATP (Australian Technology Park).
